Our vision is to create a new paradigm of medicine, one which works collectively to look after its patient as a whole person and focuses on their physical, emotional and nutritional wellbeing in an evidence-based way.
At Paradigm & Co, we understand that there is a need for a multidisciplinary approach, within the conventional and within the complementary, when helping women who are living with chronic conditions. Chronic conditions are complex and multifactorial, and hence one solution is not adequate. Along with providing specialist pharmaceutical and minimally invasive surgical management, complementary approaches are used whenever possible to promote long lasting results, optimal health and wellbeing.
We want to make it our mission to break down the silos between conventional and complementary medicine in order to achieve the most desirable outcome in prevention and treatment of women’s health conditions.
Patients who present to Paradigm & Co. with chronic conditions such as, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, urinary incontinence, pre-menstrual syndrome and irregular bleeding, are invited where suitable to have physiotherapy, nutritional and naturopathic advice, and acupuncture once the diagnosis is made using conventional medical and complementary assessment and investigations. We also have a network of specialists whom we refer to for conditions outside our speciality. This multi-disciplinary approach to the patient’s health promotes education, awareness and long lasting results.
At Paradigm and Co, with patients consent we endeavour to collaborate with the patient’s primary practitioner, their allied health practitioners and their specialists for optimal and individualised care.
We are committed to be involved in clinical research in the field of integrative medicine, to publish and to continue improving the way we practice medicine.
